Creating a portfolio website is an exciting exercise in showcasing your own skills and accomplishments. I started by brainstorming the key features and content I wanted to include — resume, project examples, and contact information — and considered the overall design aesthetic: color scheme, typography, and layout.

Using HTML skills from my Software Approach to Human Interaction class, I built out the basic structure, focusing on a clear and intuitive navigation system. From there I gradually added content and styling, testing across multiple devices and browsers to keep it accessible.

One of the biggest challenges was landing on the right UI design. I experimented with multiple layouts, built wireframes and prototypes, and gathered feedback from friends and colleagues before settling on a clean, minimalist design that emphasized the work over decoration.

I hosted the finished site on GitHub Pages and connected it to my domain. This page you're reading now is the direct descendant of that first version — I keep updating and refining it as my skills and experience grow.
