Hello! I'm Wyatt Bodle, a Computer Science student with a passion for technology, programming, and a strong commitment to excellence in software development. Originally from Victorville, California, I've always been curious about how things work, which eventually led me to develop a deep fascination with technology and software development.
My journey into this field began during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was then that I dedicated myself to learning Swift iOS development. Through self-guided learning and the vast resources available online, I gained valuable experience in software development, igniting my passion for a career in computer science and engineering.
My dedication to learning and problem-solving is reflected in my academic achievements. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at California Baptist University, with an expected graduation year of 2025 and a GPA of 3.75. Throughout my academic journey, I've excelled in various programming languages, including Python, C++, and Java, showcasing my versatility in different coding environments.
What sets me apart is my hands-on experience in teaching, leading, and mentoring. I've had the privilege of serving as a Programming Instructor at Coding Minds Academy. In this role, I successfully imparted coding concepts and languages to diverse groups of students. My ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt my teaching style to meet individual student needs has played a pivotal role in nurturing students' proficiency in programming.
Beyond academics, I currently hold the position of President at the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Club at California Baptist University. Under my leadership, I've successfully restructured the club to focus on competition-based content, fostering greater efficiency and collaboration among team members. I actively lead and organize meetings, facilitate workshops, and engage in group coding projects, all of which have significantly contributed to my growth as a leader and collaborator.
Looking ahead, my goal is to contribute to the development of assistive technology that can make a positive impact on people's lives. I'm excited about the endless possibilities that lie ahead in the field of software development.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I'm eager to explore the opportunities that await in the tech community.
